Technical Specialist for the Oil & Gas/Process Safety Team

I was the technical authority within the Oil & Gas team, for design and production of safety critical software (using the PCS7 platform). I have extensively used PCS7, F-Systems software & S7-400 controllers to produce safety systems for ESD and F&G in the UK Oil & Gas industry sector. Within Siemens I have attended technical consultant level training for the PCS7 and F-Systems products. My job function includes, Project Management, providing support (technical and sales), managing & disseminating information to the team, making presentations (both internally and to customers) & authoring technical documentation. Another important aspect of my work is being a member of the SIL determination team, who facilitate SIL determinations and HAZOPs on the behalf of customers. Personal Information

I have designed and authored a county council initiative brochure, for 2 consecutive issues, highlighting artists and their studios in the county – with a circulation of 20,000+ culminating in a large exhibition. I have an active interest in the local pre-school and have recently been involved in the Risk Assessment of the premises and the upgrade of their website. I enjoy food and cooking, both at home and dining out. My health & fitness is a priority and I exercise on a regular basis. I generally enjoy the outdoor life, especially visiting the coast. In the past I have participated in several sports including football, hockey, rugby, Muay Thai boxing, karate & swimming (most at a competitive level). During my time at college I travelled extensively around Europe visiting most of the major cities in the continent, I enjoy languages and cultures and speak a little French, German and Italian. I hold a Full UL driving Licence, BUPA & Offshore current medical certificates. Have previously held Red-Cross First Aider certificate (lapsed)
